Art has influenced me from an early age. In the Masterpiece series, I combine elements to tell stories and ask questions.

Botticielli’s Venus in the Porsche in Miami- would she still attract everyone’s attention today? Hamlet’s to be or not to be – what if Hamlet did not hesitate and ponder (ostrich with its head in the sand) but made a courageous decision? Klimt, Haring and Disney – what do we mean by love and does the one really exist? Uma Thurman representing cinema in the 90s with the Smashing Pumpkins, friends and partying, who would we be today if we hadn’t spent countless evenings like that?

What I find more interesting than the questions are the answers we give ourselves – what do they say about us?

And how do they change over time?
